Rescued by Animal Rescue Volunteers

Rosebud was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 23rd 2017. She was also our 2018 Wag 'n Walk mascot. Rosebud is very sweet, friendly, and loves to fall asleep on your lap. She gets along with all dogs and people. She is special needs as she is deaf, has neurological issues, and hip/knee issues. As a result, she has an odd gait but none of this slows her down. She has seen a neurologist who said she is stable and will not worsen. Our surgeon performed FHO surgery on one hip and says no other surgeries are necessary. She is medically stable, so is ready for her forever home. She is 1/2 the size of her siblings at 15 lbs. Her mom and dad were rescued from the shelter when her momma was pregnant. She and her 4 siblings were born in the foster's home. Due to her health issues, her adoption was delayed but she is now ready for a loving forever home. Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.

I'd like to know more about Rosebud!
