Fat Albert

Rescued by Animal Rescue Volunteers

Fat Albert was born in the Foster's home on November 3, 2017. He is a Terrier/Dachshund/Chihuahua mix. He was named Fat Albert by the foster mom's grandchildren because he was the chubbiest of the litter and always made sure he got his fair share of the milk. He has since slimmed down and has turned out to be a sweet, fun, and loving boy with a big heart! He is very affectionate and loves to cuddle in your lap on the couch. He is also very playful and gets along with all other dogs although he thinks he is the top dog. Albert would be happiest in a home where he has a yard and another small dog to play with. He knows the sit and down commands for treats and is doing very well with his leash training. ARV rescued his mom Stephanie (AKA Stevie) from the shelter when she was pregnant. She had six puppies, Clover, Fat Albert, Jack Frost, Mouse, Snowflake, and Little Man aka Spotify. Stop by and meet our pets on SATURDAYS or if you are not able, email to arrange a convenient time to meet the pet. Adoption events are Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm at R and R Pet Lifestyle and Supply at 2780 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley (SE corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo), except holiday weekends. Please email (staff@arvsimi.org) ahead to make sure a particular pet will be at adoptions.
